Fiverr notifications not working? How to fix it
Fiverr notifications stop for boring reasons far more often than broken ones. Work through these in order; most cases are solved in the first three.
1. Check Fiverr's own notification settings
Fiverr has per-category notification settings covering messages, orders and marketing, separately for email and for push. It is common to have switched something off months ago and forgotten, or to have hit an unsubscribe link in a promotional email that turned off more than intended.
Start here before assuming anything is broken, because everything below depends on these being on.
2. Check your browser actually allows them
Browser notifications need permission, and that permission is per-site and easy to lose. If you ever clicked Block on Fiverr's prompt, you will never be asked again — it simply stays blocked silently.
In Chrome, open the padlock icon in the address bar while on fiverr.com and check Notifications is set to Allow. Clearing site data or using a different browser profile resets this.
3. Check the phone, not just the app
- Notifications must be allowed for the Fiverr app in your phone's own settings, not only inside Fiverr.
- Battery savers, Focus and Do Not Disturb silence apps without telling you. Android's aggressive battery optimisation is a frequent cause.
- Being logged out of the app stops push entirely, and it can log you out without any obvious sign.
4. Check where the emails are landing
Fiverr's email often ends up in Gmail's Promotions tab, or in a filter you set up long ago to keep Fiverr's marketing out of your inbox. Search your mail for messages from Fiverr rather than trusting that your inbox is empty of them.
When everything is on and it still is not enough
The uncomfortable answer is that all three of Fiverr's channels share the same weakness: they only reach you where you happen to be looking. The browser needs a tab open, push needs the app installed and permitted, and email needs you reading email.
If you have checked everything above and still miss messages, the problem is no longer a setting. It is that nothing is watching on your behalf while you work. That is what a browser extension does — it watches the Fiverr tab you already have open and forwards anything new to somewhere you will actually see it, such as Telegram.
It is worth being clear about what that does not solve: an extension lives in your browser, so it stops when your browser or computer does. It complements the mobile app, it does not replace it.

- Yes. Fiverr's email notifications need no app, and a browser extension can forward new activity to a messaging app such as Telegram, which reaches your phone without the Fiverr app installed.
- Is there a way to test whether notifications are working?
- Ask a friend with a Fiverr account to send you a message, or use a second account you control. That tests the whole chain end to end, which no amount of checking settings can do on its own.
